Invest in a new gun and new caliber... it's cheap...

Okey... first off I've got a c&r so no xfer fees to worry about, shipped to my door.

Excellent condition Romainian TT-33's can be bought from AIMsurplus or SOG for $209 + shipping. come with spare mag and holster... extra mags like new 8 bucks each.

aimsurplus now has 800 round tins of 7.62x25 ammo for 59.99 a tin!

Either way I'm buying a case of the ammo (even though I don't have a caliber in it)... should I also pick up the gun and couple spare mags while I'm at it?

FWIW I could also throw on a CZ52 and combine shipping while I'm at it for an extra $124.99 or simply get 2 TT33's for $199 each.

Costs $1 more per pistol to ship upto 3 vs shipping just one.

FWIW I've got a Nagant revolver for sale, excellent condition, cash, silver or gold ;)

edit: Thats the cheapest center fire ammo around and I like shootin', plus I can always resell the ammo when the price go up again next month, lol

I've been thinking about picking up a CZ52 and lots of ammo as well. Also C&R. Those things have awesome penetration power!

 Just bought a CZ-52. First heard about them on here actually when someone mentioned one in a thread about cops. They seem to be drying up. Couldn't find a single source that had them in stock. Ended up going through gunbroker.

I'm completely in love with this gun/caliber. They have a good reputation with kevlar. Plus can reload the brass with sabots opening up all sorts of potential exotic projectile options. Can't wait to shoot it!

Supposedly they also make some hollow point 7.62x25 with birdshot in it or something.

So yeah: I 2nd that!

I'm picking up my TT33 from my FFL dealer early next week. Got the same gun from AIM + 3 extra mags - a deal too good to pass up !!
Can't beat that surplus ammo - powerful stuff :D

What's the advantage of the TT over the CZ?

"The T-33 had much less recoil and muzzle blast than the CZ-52. And the better sights and much better trigger made shooting it accurately much easier.

We were both surprised at the big difference in these areas."

The 800 round can is probably Romanian 7.62x25 ammo...Works well in the Tokarevs but I have had some problems with it in the CZ52s.

*thought I'd throw in the aimsurplus link so folks can compare.

Aim has the mags for 8 bucks and I've dealt with them alot. I'll let you know when (if) I get one how it is.. might also buy from SOG, I'm a big fan of them, I got my CZ82 from them IIRC.
